The service
Sum of Days is a personal recording tool for saving things that already happened and looking back on how those records accumulate over time.
The service allows you to create items, save records, review footprints, and use other features made available through the product.
An account using Google sign-in or an email one-time code is currently required to save and sync cloud data.
Your account
You are responsible for the account you use to sign in and for activity carried out through that account.
Please provide accurate account information where required and do not attempt to access another person's account or private records.

Acceptable use
Please do not use Sum of Days to break the law, interfere with the service, probe or attack its infrastructure, automate abusive traffic, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' information.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or its infrastructure from abuse or security threats.
Your records
We do not claim ownership of the records and other content you create in Sum of Days.
You allow us to process that information only as needed to provide, operate, secure, and maintain the service, as further described in the Privacy Policy.
You remain responsible for the information you choose to save in the product.
Product and intellectual property
The Sum of Days name, product design, software, written product materials, and other parts of the service remain the property of their respective owner or licensors.
Using the service does not give you ownership of the product itself, its source code, branding, or other protected materials.
Availability and changes
Sum of Days is provided as an evolving independent web product. We work to keep it useful and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every feature will remain unchanged forever.
Features may be added, changed, removed, or temporarily unavailable as the product develops or as underlying services change.
When a change affects your existing records in a meaningful way, we will try to handle the transition with reasonable care.
Ending your use
You may stop using Sum of Days at any time.
Where self-service account deletion is available, you may use that feature. Otherwise, you may contact hello@sumofdays.com to request deletion of your account-linked data.
We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to respond to unlawful use, serious abuse, security threats, or attempts to harm the service or other users.
Responsibility and limitations
Sum of Days is a personal recording and reflection tool. It is not professional financial, medical, legal, or other professional advice.
We take reasonable care in operating the service, but online services can experience errors, interruptions, or data loss.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect losses resulting from interruptions, unavailable features, lost records, or decisions made based on information recorded in the product.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Sum of Days changes. The latest update date will always appear at the top of this page.
If a change materially affects how the service works or your rights, we will provide additional notice when reasonably possible.
